ChessBonsai: your chess opening repertoire is a tree. Tend it like a bonsai.
ChessBonsai reads your Chess.com or Lichess games, grows your opening tree move by move and shows you the exact move where you left your line. Free beta, in English and Spanish.
Why “bonsai”?
Every chess player calls their openings a tree: each move grows new branches. A bonsai is a small tree shaped with patience: you let what you want grow and prune the rest. That is exactly what a good repertoire is.
- Plant: your tree grows from your own games, not from a five-hundred-line course.
- Prune: after each game you see where you left your line and decide to cut the move or accept it as an alternative.
- Shape: train only your own branches with spaced repetition and puzzles taken from your own lines.
What is in the beta

- Opening mistake detection: the exact move where each game left your repertoire.
- Training, practice and puzzles built from your own openings.
